I am so proud of all of the kids who participated in KIDSMARATHON! Their motto, "Finishing is Winning and Winning is finishing" proved to be right on! Kids from around Connecticut worked hard during the program to run 26.2 miles, the distance of a marathon. On May 30, they completed their last mile together with other schools around the state. I am honored to have been a part of such an amazing event. Getting kids active is the first step in helping others lead a healthy lifestyle.
A special Thanks to The Connecticut Association of Schools for organizing this life-changing event and program!
